No. Indie Horror Gamer does not use AI beyond spell and grammar check software.

Honestly, it’s just whatever crosses our path. And while, we admit, a key is likely to fast-track a review, we regularly purchase games we like the look of and want to play and review. Plus, it’s nice to support the devs.

Making a game is hard, even today with all the tools available. We like to appreciate the creative spirit, so unless something is cobbled together using AI or we think it’s made with little thought or passion, we will generally fall down on the positive side.
Having said that, we’ve seen a lot of horror games, so to get a score above 7, you have to do something pretty special.

At the moment, no. We’d love to publish third-party reviews and features, but we just don’t have the budget as it stands, and we’d rather wait until we can pay writers a decent amount for their work.

Absolutely not. If a game’s rubbish, we’ll call it out. But as a rule of thumb we are forgiving. As long as you’ve got some decent ideas and it’s not a total unplayable mess, you’ll get some positive comments.
