Few demos have intrigued Indie Horror Gamer as much as this fresh slice of horror from a trio of developers.

A mysterious plague has wiped out all our animal friends and destroyed our crops for good measure. Some humans resort to consuming infected livestock and mutate into flesh-craving zombies. Meanwhile, faced with a scran-less future, eating human flesh is legalised, and factories spring up to process it. Ugh.

Medium Rare is a turn-based dungeon crawler, much in the spirit of the classic era of the late Eighties to early Nineties. The player moves across a grid-based map, making constant resource decisions while fending off zombies, bandits and more. The aim is to reach the summit and rescue your wife.

The graphical style of Medium Rare is certainly different, as is its gameplay. You can try it now on Steam, with the full game due out sometime next year.
