Coming Soon: Undead Space

While we prefer a dash of originality in our horror games here at Indie Horror Gamer, we’re not averse to a familiar, even derivative experience every now and then.

This demo, from publisher Honor Games and developer PUNK Off has been around for a while, and we’re hoping the final game will appear sometime this summer.

Undead Space is set on Mars, your unnamed astronaut arriving at a deserted research facility. The initial design borrows heavily from the opening scenes of the first Resident Evil, echoing the Spencer Mansion. As you venture deeper into the station, you uncover evidence of scientific malfeasance, and the shattered remains of several scientists. The demo offers some interesting puzzles, a shortage of ammo and shambling, but deadly zombie-like creatures.

So, Resident Evil, mixed with Dead Space, set on Mars. We’re in.
