Horror Highlights From The Convergence Games Showcase 2026
Digital showcase Convergence returned this month with its third presentation of new and incoming indie games. Here’s what caught Indie Horror Gamer’s eye.
Drowned Lake - Dark waters run deep in this intense horror from Monumental Collab. It looks to be taking a fair amount of inspiration from 2023’s Dredge, but that’s not a bad thing. The world needs more fishing horror games.
Holstin - We’ve had this forced-isometric game in our sights for a while. It’s a Lovecraftian horror set in an eerie Nineties Polish town, where everyone seems not quite normal.
Idet - You work at the Duskrise Diner, a restaurant at the edge of time. Murder is in the air, but the clientele still need feeding in this frankly bizarre-looking game from Deblue.
SOS Incident - A narrative-driven psychological horror inspired by a true crime incident.
Shark Dentist - This is a unique does-what-it-says-on-the-tin horror from Alice Games. Perform increasingly-complicated tooth surgery on sharks, and try not to get chomped in the process.
