Sitting in a spooky middle-ground between M Night Shyamalan’s The Village, Twin Peaks and Silent Hill, Foghorns Drown has a fascinating backdrop, framed within your important role as a ferryman.  

Presented in that familiar retro PSX style, you ferry passengers back and forth between two settlements, separated not just by water but by a thick, foreboding band of fog.

Its demo is fantastic, building a palpable sense of dread throughout the 40-minute runtime. Questions abound. What is the Citadel? What disease ravaged the village years ago? And just what happened to the previous ferryman? Hopefully, all these and more will be answered in the final game, out very soon.
