A couple of months ago, Indie Horror Gamer interviewed James Muirhead, the developer behind this Scottish-set horror. James has since set up a Steam page for his game, and now we have a short demo, giving you a brief taster of what to expect in Grease Trap ‘99.

You’re alone on the night shift inside one of those staples of UK life: the humble fish and chip shop. But while it may be the early hours, the frying never stops, with plenty of customers seeking a late-night battered feast. In Grease Trap ’99, it’s your job to not only keep them satisfied but also the malignant being lurking in the basement.

Grease Trap ‘99’s demo offers easy-to-use mechanics as you busy yourself serving customers deep-fried food. You get to meet the creature below, too, satisfying it with a handful of requests. How the story plays out remains to be seen, yet one thing is for sure: there will be plenty of battering and frying involved.
