If you’ve ever wanted to run your own video store, 90s style, developer Stingbot is bringing the right game to life in 2027. Oh, but there’s a catch. Once night arrives, weird things start to happen, including poltergeists and underwater monsters. What, you thought this was gonna be easy?

Each shift ends with the final customer departing the store with their chosen movie. This choice dictates the events that follow, a new challenge each night for this poor, underpaid video store worker.

Victor’s Video Vault’s demo does a great job of evincing that authentic 90s video store, something many of us miss in these days of digital downloads and streaming. With diverse evenings, anomalies and more, this video store simulation could be one of the surprise hits of 2027.
