It doesn’t look like there’s going to be much subtlety to Elderfeast’s Lovecraftian monsters, going by its trailer. Huge, shambling horrors permeate practically every frame, but Elderfeast’s twist is that you aren’t just killing these beasts, but cutting them up, harvesting their body parts before cooking up some deliciously cosmic meals.

Elderfeast is the first game from Lurker Entertainment, an amalgam of experienced devs led by Ben Wanat, a key part of the Dead Space series. It looks enormous fun, and should be in Early Access sometime next year.
