If you’re a fan of horror movies, you’re certain to have enjoyed the stalking pleasures of classic films such as Friday The 13th and Halloween. The Cabin Watcher looks to be placing the player right into the middle of one of these cinematic thrillers, running and hiding for your life from a machete-wielding madman.

The short demo doesn’t give much away beyond its isolated locale, and while the plot teased so far isn’t totally encouraging, we’re looking forward to where this slasher videogame takes us.

You can play the demo on Steam now, while the full game is slated to release on the 6th August. Don’t forget your running shoes!
