Agreed, we might be pushing the boundaries of horror here, but this intriguing mix of dungeon crawler and the classic PC puzzler Minesweeper looked too good to pass up. Over a series of rounds, the player solves minefields to progress, either against the clock or a limited number of moves. Modifiers are available at the end of each round, as are potions, extra time and more. Leaving this break room costs money, however, although you can impress the guard with your artistic and mathematical skills.
With its skeletal NPCs and evocative retro 8-bit caverns, You’ll Be Mined looks the part, at least, but your reaction to it will most probably boil down to your love, or lack thereof, of Minesweeper.
