Here at Indie Horror Gamer, we love a good slasher movie. From the genre’s first notable efforts (Halloween, Friday The 13th) to the knowing revitalisation of the 90s with the Scream franchise, give us a masked killer, supernatural or otherwise, and a selection of gory deaths, and we’re happy bunnies.

So it was with great joy we watched this trailer for Silent Lamb Studio’s killer multiplayer game, Last Summer. Players take on the role of the camp students, with one becoming The Train Killer, a terrifying figure that slaughters the residents of Camp Silent Lamb before flinging the cadavers onto a waiting train.

Oh, so that’s how he got the name.

Undoubtedly inspired by the likes of Friday The 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street, Last Summer is due for early access next year. You can follow its progress on Steam, X, and Discord.
