The Nineties-era horrors keep on coming and this latest effort, from solo developer Will Nightingale, has a fascinating set-up, the player emerging from a fluid-filled tank to explore a mysterious facility. Inspired partly by Alex Kister’s The Mandela Catalogue, a series of YouTube videos centred around doppelgangers and anomalies, Residuum’s demo is a spooky affair, the player exploring the seemingly abandoned building. It quickly becomes clear something has gone very wrong.
